A Knock At The Door........

Joseph Christian Leyendecker

As softly and gently as the 1909 New Year entered in this charming illustration, so did 2010 at our house. We stayed home, watched the ball drop on Times Square and felt a sense of fresh energy at the beginning of a brand new year and decade.

What will the year bring? No one knows, but each of us can try and make it the best it can be and hope that all the good things that lay in promise now will happen

From one of my all-time favorite groups, something to start the day

Happy New Year to you and yours! We celebrated much the same way last night! Hard to believe that it has been a decade since Y2K!

Thank you for sharing and I hope by doing that Sue it will encourage others to see that they can make a difference.

How is your daughter now. Does the diabetes still affect her.

Now THAT'S the way to start the new year - a little ABBA to open the door on 2010!

I'm looking forward to another year of your wondrous and enchanting - and sometimes mildly macabre!! - art dolls. You never fail to surprise and delight.
