I believe it was England during the war - unfortunately, I don't know what they were doing, but there certainly is a huge amount of people - all wearing gas masks.

Could very well be used as a message for today if we don't clean up our atmosphere.

Hi Sue,
I just wanted to let you know that sweet Cordula arrived today. I am at work so I haven't seen her yet but I had my hubby open it and he and my daughter said she is darling!! I can't wait to get home and find the perfect place for her!! Thanks again

This picture reminds me a lot of the fears that we grew up with. All of the fears about nuclear attack...I never thought a lot about it until I was in my 30's and I realized that a lot of us were so little when we had to face that fear at such a young age. Did you have to do all of those drills in school, too? In LA, we had a siren that went off every Friday. Scary.

Wow. This is a frightening image. I totally agree with the comments about this being our future if we don't clean up our act.

Wow, this is seriously bizzaro and inspiring in so many ways. Thanks for sharing Sue.

When I first looked at the smaller picture I thought it was a new film or something, when I cliced it in larger format saw that it was an actual vintage image and immediately felt frightend
