This is the custom order I had for a Kindred and she is on her way to China. I was sent a picture of a beautiful gal in a prom dress and while this is not an exact copy of the dress, I tried to replicate the general idea. Now I have to finish more for my shop!

Wow, congrats Sue! What a beauty!
She's so pretty and wonderful Sue.
I really love these little ones!
Hugs,
Sprite
She is so sweet...I love your dolls...
They are just so sweet. The way you are doing the faces remind of a print back in the 70's ( I think that is the right timeline) The kids had big eyes. I have a print that I purchased from garage sale. I bought it because of the face. I will try to find it and post. It is a boy dressed in a sailors outfit.
Zan, Sprite and Baroness, thank you so much for your kind words.
Kim, are you thinking of Margaret Keane? I just googled her as it has been a long time since I looked at her
work, but you are right, there is definitely a resemblance (not planned, but it is there)
Her face is so beautiful, I just love your work.
