I collect vintage magazines. They are a great resource, fascinating to read and view pics of what we now look at as a gentler time in our history, and, they can be a great source of amusement. Some of the ads are particularly (unintentionally) hilarious.
Before I go into my studio to continue working on some pieces, I wanted to share this little gem with you, from a 1933
women's magazine
In never hurts to learn new things LOL

I totally love it. Thanks
Oh LOLLLLLLLLLL! Lux it!
Now if only her friends would make sure *their* panties were the freshest they could be. How funny of an ad is THAT!!! I wonder how long it ran and how successful it was.
When I first read this ad, I immediately had visions of all the
friends greeting each other by sniffing butts/crotches, like a dog would. I showed it to my hubby and the hilarity that ensued for almost
10 minutes with our made-up "friends"
conversation was priceless.
Oh my gosh, that is hilarious! Did she need another ad to tell her to check out the spinach she had left in her teeth?? That is why we keep busy working at something....we don't have to worry so much about "luxing" things and looking out the window!
what a RIOT!
LOL!
