I love fantasy as it
leaves everything to the imagination and gives one the freedom when creating to express this.
My inspiration often comes from antique bits of lace and/or
fabric, old photos, antique display items, found objects in nature. A lilting tune can also inspire me, as can other artists' works.
I live in a wonderfully quaint town approx. an hour
northeast of Toronto, Ontario with my hubby and our dog and cat. Both daughters have flown
the coop.
I took this pic two years ago when a nest was built in the evergreen right by our front porch steps. It was so much fun to watch the eggs hatch and be cared for by mom and dad. Too soon, they had flown away!
Pattee, this was my old camera and I was actually only about 2 feet from the tree, standing on the steps. It was pretty cool. The fledglings didn't seem too afraid of us.

Great portrait of a mama bird who seems to take her responsibilities very seriously!

Wow how cool is that.... you must have a really long lens on your camera to get that close!

Aww, isn't nature so wonderful in its beauty? That must have been a lovely experience to see them hatch and fly away! :)
Sue, that is the most precious thing I have ever seen!! Those little birdies look mighty hungry...
I love mom's big round eye. Great pic!

Wow I love your wordless Wednesday even better than taco Tuesday! : ) Awesome shot, Sue!
