HANGING AROUND

I haven't had any hang tags for awhile for my pieces and have recently started making my own.

Blank commercially produced shipping tags would be the best way to go, however the closest Staples is several towns away from me, so I copied some templates off the internet, sandwiched several pieces of paper together, cut out and glued, stained, painted, added some embellishments, the pic of the piece, sealed and voila...individual hang tags for each piece.

The back of the tag has any pertinent information (i.e. name of the piece, date and my name). These are a lot of fun to make and I love that each one applies to only one unique piece.

Oh wow, oh WOW! awesome. It is such a gorgeous finish for a work of art. I so admire the skill and beauty of your dolls, now, admire how you present them as well.

What a wonderful, thoughtful idea...great marketing too....I just read something about the importance of tags and such...and adding a 'how to care for' bit. I'll see if I can find it again...hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Not surprisingly, these are the best hang tags ever. I make my own, too - but they're nothing like these!

Good on you! So clever.

Oh, now I feel so bad about the tags that I add to my items. Yours are a work of art. Perhaps it was the fact that "Staples" is fairly close to me that my artistic creativity was blocked....that is my story and I am sticking to it!

Your tags are fantastic - what a brilliant idea, I know they are meant to go with the dolls, but I bet they would be popular - I'd buy them just cos they are so pretty!! many artists sell prints of their dolls, these are totally unique!
OOh, I see my little girl... yeah, I can't wait much longer to have her with me, I wish Canada wasn't so far away!!
Happy Sunday Sue :O)
