My dad, after suffering a decline in health over the past year, passed away yesterday evening. He was a talented artist and a man full of humour, grace and dignity. One in a million, and I will miss him very much.

There is nothing good to say in this instance. I'm so sorry. My dad has been gone 35 years. I still miss him. I hope you are OK.

So very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my wonderful Pops Dec. 19, 2008. This is a very hard time of year for many of us who have lost some one so dear to us, but it also makes us reflect on those family and friends who are by our side and be thankful for having them here.

Sue...I have missed so much I didn't realize that you lost your father...my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose a loved one especially our fathers. We have recently brought in hospice for my dad here in our home and are preparing our hearts and minds for this transition. So very hard. My heart goes out to you and your family Sue.
