I love fantasy as it
leaves everything to the imagination and gives one the freedom when creating to express this.
My inspiration often comes from antique bits of lace and/or
fabric, old photos, antique display items, found objects in nature. A lilting tune can also inspire me, as can other artists' works.
I live in a wonderfully quaint town approx. an hour
northeast of Toronto, Ontario with my hubby and our dog and cat. Both daughters have flown
the coop.
A joyous flash mob presentation for unsuspecting commuters at the Antwerp Central Station. I would so love to be at Toronto's Union Station and experience something like this. What an uplifting event to experience on a normal, today-is-like-everyday-routine day!
Hi, great!!!! so funny!!!, I wish we all could be free to enjoy daily life that way, making every day special at it is,I like the way people smile and seem to feel the energy of life.... thank you for sharing!!1! Eli
I was lucky to be in Grand Central (NYC) several years ago when another 'event' took place. It was in the mid-morning, and as always the place was crowded and everybody was rushing. Then. All of a sudden. About two hundred people just froze. Some in the act of waving, some in the midst of walking or running. For three full minutes, living statues around us. It was awesome. Then, at exactly the same time, the freeze was broken and it was as if nothing had happened. Awesome!
Eli, I agree. As you and Tristan both say, an experience like this is energizing.
Tristan, lucky, lucky you! I have seen the video of the Grand Central flash mob freeze and it is another totally amazing event. I bet you had a huge smile and a real feeling of connection with everyone after seeing that. I envy you that small moment in time.
I love this. I recall seeing something recently done in the London train station. What a great way to start your day! Yes, Joanna, I agree, life is a dance and what a dance!!
Hi Georgina, yes T-Mobile did a wonderful event similar to this in London. Until the end of the video you were not even aware that it was a commercial for cell phones. It was amazing.
How cool is that! I get tired of the same old routine myself. We need to crank up the music and dance around the house for about an hr. and we will get some exercise and feel better. Too much sitting and working and not enough play
Thank you Sue....You started my day out with a song in my heart and I'll be hummmmmming the do re me song all day long. And yes, it teared me up...must be the age I am. hug, hug...
