3 Down 1 To Go

Breanna (she's hoping the black lace makes her look older - she completely forgot to change her hair style)

Adopted - Thank you Pattee!

Tessla, a Ghost Child Kindred (doesn't want you to fear her)

Ravena, Dark Angel Kindred, (working towards her white wings)

I still don't have my camera settings the way I want them and typically, when I want to find it ...the English language manual has gone missing. I fiddled with some of the settings and got a few pics of the 3 Kindreds I have finished and I just listed them tonight in my Esty shop. I still have a little blonde one to finish wigging and hopefully tomorrow will be able to get her hair done and into my shop.

I've been working very slow as my right wrist has developed carpal tunnel syndrome and I'm supposed to be resting it as much as possible, which means I'm to curtail computer and sculpting time ...very, very hard for me to do. I also have a brace that I'm wearing as often as I can, particularly when on the computer and sleeping.

I started to notice the symptoms during the OWOH event and they have progressively gotten worse. I definitely don't want surgery so am hoping the brace will help.

Speaking of OWOH - not only did I find some fantastic blogs to follow, I made some great new friends from all over the world. I also became very inspired to try different mediums and methods of art. The diversity of talent profiled on the various blogs was mindboggling to me. What a great experience! I've also enjoyed going to the mailbox every day. I was super fortunate this year to win some beautiful items and hope to post about all of them and their creators tomorrow.

So sorry about your carpel tunnel. I know how anything that gets in the way of creation annoys.
I do love the soulfull look on all of the dolls faces. Your doll's eyes are the best I've seen.

The Kindreds are AMAZING, as usual Sue :)

I am sorry about your hands, how do you suppose you developed it? I hear it's too much repetition in typing, but WOW! I think i spend too much time on the computer myself, so I worry about those type of things! I hope you feel better soon!

I loved OWOH too! What a lovely experience!

Awwww Sue....I feel for you.... I am still suffering with mine. I had surgery on my right hand carpal tunnel several years ago...it's great now.

But. the left. oh, man... I have a giant cluster ganglion, carpal tunnel..and now... De Quervain's syndrome. And...I don't know if there is also something wrong with the bone too...it hurts more today than it did weeks ago and I'm calling the doctor again tomorrow. resting it... taking anti-inflammatories and using Voltaren gel... nothing is working.....hang in there....

Well, my hands and wrists hurt but I don't know if it's this or just from my job...I use wrenches a lot.. I just have to work through the pain.

Get yours better cause you need to keep creating these awesome little girls. I'm talking to Santa early this year....

I would have a hard time picking any favorite. I just love all of them!!!! I suffer with the same thing, especially when conditioning clay, but over the years as soon as I feel anything, I stop what I am doing at the time do something else and this seems to work for me. Rest is the best medicine!

Sorry to hear about your wrist, I sure hope you caught it early and it gets feeling better.

Those Kindred dolls have just the sweetest faces ever!

I'm in love with all these new dolls. They are so so amazing. I wonder if that yoga position would help your wrists? The one where you put your hand backwards on the floor to stretch? Actually probably not such a good idea at this point. I hope that you feel better soon.

And so glad to hear you are trying new artsy things. That is exciting!

I love your new art figures Sue! Each one is so unique and precious! I love those big sad eyes. They are so sweet!
I am sorry to hear about your hand...I have had that for years. Invest in a GOOD hand brace. Not the cheap ones.. You want one with the metal inside.. not the plastic. And live in it for awhile. They do work! Mine now just comes and goes but ever since I used the brace it helped more than I would have guessed! 10 years later and I am doing much better!
Good luck!

Hope you feel well and that your hand will give you a break...my fingers get cramped and hurt but I have yet to suffer from full on carpal..not what we doll makers need!
Have a lovely weekend :)

Oh my gosh sue...those dolls are incredible!! I adore them!

I have had carpal Tunnel problems also over the years. I worked for 11 years at a company where I was on the computer all day and now, with my website, I have to be careful. I do use braces when I have a flare up and it does help tremendously. I usually have to wear them for about a week, especially at night.

your work simply knocks me out and I am vowing to one day own one of your fabulous creations.
Sorry to hear about the carpel tunnel, I thought for sure I'd have problems after OWOH but luckily did not. Definitely rest it a lot and definitely wear the brace as it does REALLY help!!
Can't wait to see what you won!
Have a great weekend!
